McNichol, Byrne & Matlawski, P.C. and our attorneys have over 30 years of collective experience in the practice of criminal law.  Our attorneys are former county and special federal prosecutors.  Our firm represents clients in felony, misdemeanor and summary criminal cases, and juvenile court delinquency cases.

Our attorneys have litigated numerous jury trials, bench trials, pre-trial and suppression motions, sentencing hearings, post-sentence motions, Gagnon hearings, probation and parole hearings, and criminal appeals.  Our firm has successfully made application for numerous qualified clients to Accelerated Rehabilitative Disposition (ARD) Program, youth diversionary program and juvenile court consent decree program for cases involving Driving Under the Influence (DUI), misdemeanordrug possession, underage drinking, and other misdemeanor offenses.  In addition, our attorneys are able to assist qualified clients with expungement petitions in order to remove eligible arrests, non-conviction data and certain conviction data from a client's criminal history.

Our attorneys are familiar with local, county and federal criminal courts, including local magistrate courts, Philadelphia Municipal Court, the Court of Common Pleas Criminal Division in Delaware County, Chester County, Montgomery County, Philadelphia, and the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.  When charged with criminal offenses, it is important to have an attorney who is experienced with criminal litigation and procedure in order to protect your rights.  McNichol, Byrne & Matlawski, P.C. and our attorneys provide our clients with such experience and representation.
